As a special needs art teacher, I aim to use art in a therapeutic setting everyday. Im inspired by the beauty that surrounds us in this great state and am drawn to the nautical themes surrounding us. Nature has driven my art since the beginning. I work in a variety of mediums such as but not limited to driftwood, watercolor, wood working, metal art, and am always experimenting with new ventures. Look for the octopus tree, and you will find me.

Music Performance degree and 20 plus years of teaching music lessons. Currently offering lessons for guitar, mandolin, piano, bass, banjo, and ukulele. Evan Ayton joined CRS in a more formal capacity in 2024 with the launch of Common Roots Recording. Evan is a songwriter from upstate New York who has called Maine home for over a decade.

Fine Pioneer is the musical project of Evan Ayton. Fine Pioneer was born during the pandemic, with Evan spending two years in an attic room, two guitars, two microphones, and a flood of emotions that shaped his debut album, The Fire, The Mountain.
